The Curse of the Summer Computer Explosions

by Sean Gates

September 13th, 2012 - So I'll begin by apologizing for the dearth of updates over the summer. I've decided it's some kind of curse...last summer when Clayton came to visit, my old Dell laptop decided it was done with life. I was without a computer from August, shortly after Banner Elk, in fact, up until mid-September when I was gifted with a new HP. Well, this past summer, as you all know, Clayton came to visit again, and by mid-July, soon after we shot Ku-Klip, I turned on my computer and it worked fine for a little while, and then got incredibly slow and no attempts to fix it would yield any positive results. Diagnostics tools said hard drive failure was to blame. I don't want to bore you with the details, but after an attempt to have it fixed by HP tech support (who didn't believe the hard drive business for a second) the hard drive finally did crap out, and I decided I was done with HP and took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, who returned it to me in working order yesterday. So...long story...long, I guess...well, what I'm saying is, once again I've got a fully-functioning computer, and site updates shall commence again. Starting with this apology.

Dinosaurs! In our forums! Okay, I'm lying.
